Warren Weaver once wrote this passage:
"When I look at an article in Russian, I say "This is really written in English, but it has been coded in some strange symbols. I will now proceed to decode."
Guess what linguistic problem he implied.
Tip: Think of Russian as a source language and English as the target one. Where do we use these terms?
