The sorting is based on the definition of a comparison operator for the specific type of expression.

By default, SQL sorts the resulting rows by the first column. If the first columns of some rows are equal, they are sorted by the next columns.

If one does not specify ASC or DESC keywords, the order is assumed to be ascending.

SQL does not have any default order of rows when providing the result of a query evaluation.
