Data Scientist

We are going to guide you through the knowledge which is necessary for every data scientist. We will show you the world of classic machine learning with models like linear and logistic regression, decision trees, model compositions, and much more, while also familiarizing you with more modern methods based on neural networks. Additionally, you will work with SQL, which is one of the core skills for any aspiring data scientist.

Upon completion of this track, you will:

• Get acquainted with basic linear models and their extensions while learning the necessary math to understand how these work;
• Learn more complex concepts like decision trees and compositions such as random forests and gradient boosting;
• Discover many different tasks a data scientist might face, including the most common ones like classification and regression, alongside clustering and dimensionality reduction;

• Gain experience with convolutional neural networks for computer vision tasks and recurrent neural networks for sequence data;
• Strengthen your data manipulation skills with advanced SQL queries;
• Get a solid foundation for your own experiments in the field by solving various tasks and projects.
